Despite a No. 3 world ranking, Rory McIlroy's performance at the BMW Championships this week in Denver hasn't been all that impressive.
The Irish golfer finished Day 2 a steady 10 strokes behind leader Adam Scott, and he couldn't hold in a public show of anger that same morning when it didn't look like his prospects were improving.

McIlroy finished with a three-put bogey on Hole 16 before missing the fairway on his Hole 17 drive. He clearly wasn't very happy with himself after the awry stroke, throwing his driver into the water in front of the tee box with a slight-handed toss that looked almost hesitant.
The golfer ultimately parred on the hole in five strokes and wasn't able to catch up much to the top of the leaderboard.
