CeeDee Lamb's spent most of the 2024 offseason holding out from the Cowboys. That has now come to an end as the two parties agreed to a lucrative, long-term contract extension.

Dallas signed Lamb to a deal that will make him one of the highest-paid non-quarterbacks in NFL history. The deal is worth $136 million over four years, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Lamb will receive over $100 million in guarantees along with the largest signing bonus ever for a wide receiver.

CeeDee Lamb contract details

Lamb agreed to a four-year extension with the Cowboys worth up to $136 million overall. The deal makes Lamb the second-highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history behind only Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson (four years, $140 million).

Lamb will receive $100 million in guarantees as part of his new-look contract with the Vikings. He also receives a signing bonus of $38 million, the largest ever given to a wide receiver in NFL history.

Lamb's deal will pay him an average annual value (AAV) of $34 million. That's just $1 million less in AAV than Jefferson ($35 million).

NFL highest-paid receivers

Lamb is now the second-highest-paid WR in the league in AAV. His new deal puts him behind only Justin Jefferson but ahead of players like A.J. Brown and Amon-Ra St. Brown who signed extensions earlier in the offseason.

Below is a look at the NFL's highest-paid WRs in AAV, per OverTheCap.com.

Rank Player Team AAV
1 Justin Jefferson Vikings $35 million
2 CeeDee Lamb Cowboys $34 million
3 A.J. Brown Eagles $32 million
4 Amon-Ra St. Brown Lions $30.0025 million
5 Tyreek Hill Dolphins $30 million
6 Jaylen Waddle Dolphins $28.25 million
7 Davante Adams Raiders $28 million
8 D.J. Moore Bears $27.5 million
9 Cooper Kupp Rams $26.7 million
10 DeVonta Smith Eagles $25 million

The total value of Lamb's deal is the third-highest in the league. It checks in just $4 million behind Jefferson and Davante Adams' total values of $140 million.

Here are the NFL's 10 highest-paid receivers in total contract value.

Rank Player Team Contract value
1 Justin Jefferson Vikings $140 million
  Davante Adams Raiders $140 million
3 CeeDee Lamb Cowboys $136 million
4 Amon-Ra St. Brown Lions $120.01 million
5 D.J. Moore Bears $110 million
6 Amari Cooper Browns $100 million
7 A.J. Brown Eagles $96 million
8 Calvin Ridley Titans $92 million
9 Tyreek Hill Dolphins $90 million
10 Jaylen Waddle Dolphins $84.75 million

It isn't clear how long Lamb will hold onto the No. 2 spot on this list. Bengals receiver Ja'Marr Chase is still looking for a lucrative extension, and if he signs one before the 2024 season, it could challenge the value of Lamb's contract.

Either way, the Cowboys star is breaking the bank and locking in his long-term future as the top weapon on Dallas' offense.
