Taylor Swift has certainly made an impact on Chiefs Kingdom off the field, spurring a 30% boost in the team's fan base since she first appeared at a game in 2023 in support of Travis Kelce.

Is she attempting to make an impact on the field as well? The 14-time Grammy Award winner and owner of 12 No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 is rumored to be drawing up plays for her boyfriend's team in her time off from the famed Eras Tour.

Will Chiefs run Taylor Swift play?

Mahomes spilled the tea on Swift's recent creative escapade in an interview with NBC's Chris Simms. While previewing Thursday's matchup against the Ravens, the quarterback said of Swift: "She's really interested in football, and she asks a lot of great questions. Started drawing up plays. We might have to put one in."

He went on to say how cool it's been to see more women and girls becoming interested in football, especially because he's a "girl dad." Mahomes then complimented the singer for how good of a role model she's been since he's grown to know her.

"And then meeting Taylor, realizing how genuine and cool she is," he said. "I think that's been special to me because she's, like you said, the most famous person in the world, she could not be."

Andy Reid's offense is one that likes to experiment, as it did recently when Mahomes slung a behind-the-back pass to Kelce in a preseason game for a first down. Who's to say the head coach won't pluck a play from one of the world's brightest stars?

What did Travis Kelce say about Taylor Swift plays?

In an appearance on "The Rich Eisen Show" on Tuesday, Kelce addressed the idea that his beau could be contributing to the team's playbook for the first time.

“She had just been so open to learning the game. She didn’t know much about the rules and everything,” the 34-year-old tight end said about Swift. “I think what makes her so good in her profession is that she’s so detailed in every aspect of it, from the words to her music and even the releases and the music videos and everything. She’s just so detailed and a part of it, that I think she was just curious about the profession. I know none of the plays have gotten to Coach Reid yet. If they ever do, I’ll let everyone know it was her creation.”

He continued: “She’s a little biased and just creates plays for me.”

Will Taylor Swift attend Chiefs games this season?

The 34-year-old pop sensation is currently on a break from her globe-spanning Eras Tour until it resumes in Miami on Oct. 18. That should leave Swift's schedule open for potential appearances at Kelce's games for the first five games of the season, from Sept. 5 to Oct. 7.

Kansas City has a bye Week 6, and the team's next contest falls on Oct. 20., after Swift gets back on stage. She remains on tour through Dec. 8, with her last show set to take place in Vancouver. That means Swift should be available if the Chiefs take a trip to the postseason, which is highly likely as they come off their second consecutive Super Bowl win.
