Chelsea face Real Madrid in the 2022/23 Champions League quarterfinals as the Blues look to bring some hope to the club.

Having already sacked Thomas Tuchel and Graham Potter this season, Chelsea sit 11th in the Premier League. Their fans are not expecting to win the competition, but they will certainly want to see some fight from their side.

Real Madrid on the other hand will demand that their side go all the way for a record 15th time. Having already lost out on the league, the Champions League and Copa del Rey are must-win competitions for Carlo Ancelotti.

Chelsea beat Real in the 2020/21 semifinals of this tournament, while Los Blancos won the quarterfinal matchup between the two teams last season.
