Pep Guardiola continues his pursuit of his first Champions League title in over a decade as Man City face Real Madrid in the 2022/23 semi-final first leg on Tuesday, May 9.

The Citizens have not won the competition themselves, but will be hoping that the Spanish manager bring them European glory with the help of striker Erling Haaland.

Real Madrid, on the other hand, have had plenty of success in the Champions League, lifting the trophy five times since the 2013/14 season. Carlo Ancelotti has also won the competition four times following their victory over Liverpool last season.
