Pound-for-pound queen Claressa Shields has yet more justification for calling herself the GWOAT after winning the WBC heavyweight and WBO light heavyweight titles at the expense of Vanessa Lepage-Joanisse in Detroit on Saturday.
Shields, 29, crushed her Canadian opponent, flooring her three times before the referee ended the slaughter in round two. As a result, the now four-weight world champion retains the No. 1 spot in the mythical pound-for-pound ratings and maintains her unbeaten record.
In terms of changes, former Shields foe Savannah Marshall, previously rated No. 10. exits due to inactivity. As a result, former lightweight champ Delfine Persoon and reigning unified flyweight queen Gabriela Celeste Alaniz move up one place. A new addition to the ratings is WBO welterweight champ Sandy Ryan, who enters at No. 12.
