Just a week after an epic encounter at the Hungaroring saw the 2024 World Drivers' Championship race take another exciting twist, F1 raceday is upon us again as the 20 drivers prepare to tackle the iconic Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in the Belgian Grand Prix.

One of the most recognisable tracks on the entire motorsporting calendar, Spa is arguably the cream of the crop when it comes to the fastest tracks on the current F1 circuit, and defending world champion Max Verstappen will hope that plays to his advantage as he looks to get back into the winners' circle.

Verstappen has failed to win any of the last three races – his longest run without victory since the 2021 season – and that's seen George Russell, Lewis Hamilton and Oscar Piastri all collect their first wins of the campaign. Piastri and McLaren teammate Lando Norris recorded a one-two finish in Hungary last weekend, as the Australian achieved his maiden career victory.

Having let Piastri pass him towards the end of the Hungarian Grand Prix, Norris will be hoping he can instead take charge this time around to claim only his second win of the season at Spa – particularly given that as a dual British and Belgian citizen, this is technically his home race.

With Verstappen still holding an 76–point lead at the top of the World Drivers' Championship, the onus is on Piastri, Norris and the rest of the pack to continue catching up – and The Sporting News has your guide to the relevant TV and streaming details you'll need to follow the action from today's Belgian Grand Prix at Spa.

When is the next F1 race after the Belgian Grand Prix?

We're coming towards the end of this summer's long stretch of consecutive European races, with just two more to come on the continent before heading to Asia and the Americas for the truly decisive final meetings of the campaign. Before that though, there's another unique track to tackle at the 2024 Dutch Grand Prix.

Taking place at Circuit Zandvoort in North Holland, the 20 drivers will take to the track following the month-long summer break – the last big stretch of the season without any races. After today's race at Spa, we'll have to wait four weeks until the action gets back underway on Sunday, August 25 2024.

The Dutch Grand Prix has been sporadically held 35 times since its debut in 1950, and returned to the circuit in 2021 having last been won by the great Niki Lauda in 1985! It's Verstappen's home race too, and the Red Bull star has won each of the three meetings at Circuit Zandvoort since its return to the calendar, on his way to World Drivers' Championship titles in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
