Swerve Strickland defends the AEW World Title against AEW International Champion Will Ospreay. They have competed against one another many times, from CZW, Progress, and other promotions. From the start of their careers to now, they have elevated their games. The main event will feature two talented wrestlers looking to hold one of the most important belts in wrestling.
“This is my first time being on the main card for Forbidden Door, and I’m doing that as world champion and headlining it,” Strickland said via AMNY. “We both complement each other, the goals we still want to accomplish, we still want something, we still want more — and we push each other to want to be better.”
Mercedes Mone and Stephanie Vaquer compete in a "Winner Takes All” match for the AEW TBS and NJPW Strong Women's Titles. Mone was close to winning the latter belt last year before getting injured and now looks to be a double champion against a woman she has a history with in Vaquer.

Meanwhile, "Timeless" Toni Storm defends the AEW Women's World Title against Mina Shirakawa, while Jon Moxley and Tetsuya Naito compete in a rematch for the IWGP World Heavyweight Title. The NJPW World TV Title is on the line, while the next AEW TNT Champion will be determined in a ladder match. Zack Sabre Jr. faces Orange Cassidy, and much more!
