The world of boxing has become accustomed to wins by Canelo Alvarez.

Considered one of the world's best pound-for-pound fighter, he has held championships in four different weight classes and had lost just one fight in his career, which came back in 2013 to Floyd Mayweather Jr.

That's why the combat sports world was rattled on Saturday when the unanimous decision came down against Alvarez in his light heavyweight clash against Dmitry Bivol, who retained the WBA (Super) light heavyweight title.

Nobody saw the upset coming as Bivol entered the fight as a +400 underdog.
