We're well into the thick of things as the middle stretch of the 2024 Formula One season continues at pace, and after McLaren's Australian star Oscar Piastri collected his first-ever career win at the Hungaroring last weekend, the 20 drivers head to the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Liege for this year's Belgian Grand Prix.
McLaren teammates Piastri and Lando Norris recorded a one-two finish ahead of British Grand Prix winner Lewis Hamilton, with defending world champion Max Verstappen well back in fifth place following a controversial mix-up with Hamilton which could have cost him dearly.
The Dutchman still retains a healthy 76-point lead at the top of the World Drivers' Championship rankings, but stuck in the worst run of form we've seen for a long, long time, Verstappen's untouchable status has come under serious threat this season.
