Netherlands and Croatia are set to go head-to-head for a spot in the 2023 UEFA Nations League final.

Ronald Koeman's side, who were managed by Louis van Gaal in the group phase, finished above Belgium, Poland, and Wales to qualify for the playoffs. Croatia topped a group featuring Denmark, France and Austria.

The winner of this tie will face either Spain or Italy in the final of competition. Portugal won the inaugural edition in 2019 while France lifted the trophy in 2021.

Netherlands vs Croatia lineups

Despite a 4-0 defeat to France in his first game back, Netherlands did bounce back with a 3-0 win over Gibraltar, and Koeman is likely to continue with his 4-3-3 formation for this fixture. He has already confirmed that Justin Bijlow will start in goal.

Nathan Ake is unlikely to feature for Netherlands due to celebrations with Manchester City after they won the trebleFrenkie de Jong returns to the squad after missing the last international break, but there's a question mark over Denzel Dumfries after his involvement in the Champions League for Inter Milan.
