Last week's NASCAR race in Kansas delivered its fair share of action, paired with a photo finish that gave Kyle Larson the win over Chris Buescher. Next up is the Goodyear 400 at Darlington Raceway, a 1.33-mile oval track that has proven difficult to conquer over the years.

William Byron won the 2023 Goodyear 400 despite only leading seven laps, and he tends to do well on tracks like Darlington. Larson is also a driver to look out for after having won already at Vegas and Kansas this year. Notably, he's a fan of Darlington and manages his tires well; he won there in the playoffs last year, too.

Denny Hamlin also seems to be a challenger for the win every week, having led laps in every single race this year. He finished fifth in Kansas and has won four times at Darlington.

Larson leads the Cup Series standings with 467 points, while Martin Truex Jr. (438 points) and Chase Elliot (412 points) round out second and third, respectively.
