Multiple championships, MVPs, the all-time scoring title and now a chance at a third Olympic gold medal.
En route to the gold medal game, James and Team USA pulled off a comeback victory over Serbia in the semifinals. The Lakers star posted a triple-double in the 95-91 victory as the United States outscored Serbia 32-15 in the fourth quarter.
The 39-year-old is one of three players to record a triple-double in Olympics history. He's the only player to accomplish this feat twice.

LeBron James stats today
James posted a triple-double of 16 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists in 32 minutes of play against Serbia in the Olympic men's basketball semifinal.
"The King" shot 6-for-9 from the field, including 2-4 from 3-point range and 2-3 from the free throw line. He also had one steal in the game.
James had a plus-14 point differential in the semifinal, helping Team USA overcome a 13-point deficit after three quarters. The United States cut the lead to five points just three minutes into the fourth quarter. James tied the game at 84 with 3:41 remaining, and Stephen Curry's 3-pointer took the lead a minute later.

Olympic triple-doubles
It's just the fourth time in Olympic history that a player has recorded a triple-double. James becomes the only player to accomplish the feat twice.
The last triple-double came during the 2021 Tokyo Olympics when Luka Doncic poured in 16 points, 10 rebounds and 18 assists against France. Alexander Belov was the first player to record a triple-double at the Olympics. He did so in 1976 for the Soviet Union against Canada.
Players may have tallied triple-doubles prior to Belov, but assists and rebounds were not "consistently tracked before the 1970s."

What is a triple-double in basketball?
A triple-double is when a player reaches double figures in three of the five counting stats. A triple-double can include any three-way combination of points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks.
The most common form of a triple-double is with points, rebounds and assists, but there have been other combinations to happen in professional basketball. Only the points-rebounds-assists combo has occurred at the Olympics.
Turnovers do not count toward official triple-doubles.
