Real Madrid and Chelsea fans in the U.S. will get a chance to see their favorite clubs play this summer when the two meet up in North Carolina.
Los Blancos are scheduled to face Chelsea on Tuesday, August 6 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C. Kickoff time has yet to be announced, but it will likely be some time in the evening. This is also the last match of this summer's Soccer Champions Tour.
This match will mark the end of a whirlwind tour of the U.S. for both clubs this coming summer. For Real Madrid, it will be an opportunity to test out some of the rising young stars for the club, such as Brazilian midfielder Reinier and Turkish midfielder Arda Guler. But this match could also be an opportunity for the big names, like Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo, and Jude Bellingham to get some minutes in their legs after their summer break.

For Chelsea, it will be an important summer trying to set the foundation for the upcoming season. The Blues haven't lived up to expectation in 2024 and there will be a lot of pressure on manager Mauricio Pochettino and players like Raheem Sterling and Conor Gallagher to provide better results on the field. A win over Real Madrid — even in a friendly — can give the group real confidence heading into the new Premier League season.
