The fourth and final Grand Slam of the 2024 tennis season is finally here.

After a week of qualifying matches, the US Open main draw is set and will kick off on Monday. If the Olympics and the Cincinnati Open were any indicator of the competition, then New York is in for a treat.

On the men's side, Novak Djokovic is the reigning US Open champion and is coming off a gold medal at the Paris Olympics. Djokovic is seeking his 25th Grand Slam title, which would break the tie with Margaret Court for most all-time.

Australian Open victor Jannik Sinner claimed the top seed on the men's side, setting up a potential semifinal match against No. 3 Carlos Alcaraz, who has also had a strong year, winning both the French Open and Wimbledon.

Coco Gauff earned her first career major title last year at the US Open and will look to defend her title as the No. 3 seed. Top seed Iga Świątek is having a career year, winning five titles, including the French Open. No. 2 seeded Aryna Sabalenka may be coming in with the most momentum, after defeating American Jessica Pegula at the Cincinnati Open just a week ago.

Two-time US Open champion Naomi Osaka also returns and will face off against No. 10 Jelena Ostapenko in the first round.

Two weeks of tennis are set to begin in the Big Apple. Here is everything you need to know to listen to the US Open on the radio.
