This Sunday marks a major day on the sports calendar — it's the day the 2024 Wimbledon champion will be crowned on the pristine grass courts of London's All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club.

Tennis fans should be in for a real treat this weekend, as the odds favor a rematch of the 2023 finals between Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic. Alcaraz recovered from a 1-6 first-set loss to Djoker, rallying to beat the seven-time Wimbledon champ in an epic five-set comeback win.

That marked Alcaraz's first Wimbledon victory, and also Djokovic's first Centre Court loss in 10 years. Needless to say, a rematch between these two would command the attention of sports fans all over the world.

Interested in attending what should be another historic Wimbledon Championship? Here's everything you need to know in order to buy tickets to this prestigious Grand Slam tennis event.

Wimbledon tickets prices 2024: How to buy in The Queue

The ballot for Wimbledon 2024 has closed, with tickets allocated randomly to those who already submitted applications. For those still hoping find tickets, however, there are a number of other ways.

First and foremost, there is The Queue, in which fans can turn up on the day of an event to purchase tickets. Wimbledon stands as one of the only major sporting events in the world that still reserves box-office tickets for day-of purchasing, a tradition for which the tournament championship has come to be known.

A flat total of 500 tickets will be allocated for each day of tournament play on Centre Court, Court No. 1, and Court No. 2. These are referred to as "Show Court tickets." Fans can also buy a Grounds Pass, which grants access to the action being played on smaller courts throughout the ticketed day.

Wimbledon also features hospitality options, but they are all sold out for this year's championships.

If none of these avenues work for you — or you simply don't want to chance your luck in the queue — tickets for every day of the two-week Wimbledon Championships are available on StubHub.
