Caitlin Clark is back and seemingly in better form after the WNBA's four-week Olympic break.

The 22-year-old rookie dominated the Mercury in a 98-89 win Friday night. She scored 29 points on 8-of-16 shooting to go along with 10 assists. The Fever swept the season series, 3-0, after Diana Taurasi's comments on Clark went viral during Clark's March Madness run to cap her career at Iowa.

The Olympic break might prove to be just what Clark needed to take her game to the next level. While she played in the All-Star game, she was not a member of Team USA's Olympic roster — but the snub allowed Clark her first true break from basketball since October 2023.

The Fever sit seventh in the league standings, behind the Mercury in sixth place. They continued their second half against the Storm on Sunday, Aug. 18.

The Sporting News tracked Caitlin Clark's stats and highlights from the Fever vs. Storm matchup.

Caitlin Clark highlights vs. Seattle Storm

The Sporting News will update this during Sunday's game.

Clark made history during Sunday's game against the Storm. The rookie phenom found Lexie Hull late in the second quarter for career assist No. 225, setting an WNBA single-season rookie record for assists.

The record was previously held by Ticha Penicheiro, who recorded 224 assists for the now-defunct Sacramento Monarchs in 1998, the WNBA's second season.

Clark wasn't done breaking records on Sunday. She also set a new franchise mark for most 3-pointers made in a rookie season by a member of the Fever, surpassing the previous mark held by Tamika Catchings.

Lexie Hull's 22 points off the bench were a major reason why the Fever managed to grab a win over the Storm. Clark fed her multiple times during the contest.

Of course, Clark did damage beyond the arc as well. She went 3-for-10 from long range, including a late 3-pointer to extend Indiana's lead from 10 to 13 with less than four minutes to go.
