Known for his vicious chops, Gunther has already made history as the longest-reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion in WWE history. He is ready for the ultimate homecoming against the 14-time WWE champion in Orton.

"It's fantastic to go back to Germany as World Heavyweight Champion. I lived there for a long time, a lot of key moments in my career happened there,” Gunther said to Jimmy V3 via Wrestling Inc. “Overall, I think for the fans in Germany, it's a big deal that we have a PLE there ... To be like the top guy, walking in as the representative as the World Heavyweight Champion, it's a big honor..."

“… I think Randy's career is undeniable, but on the other hand, we got to be honest here. He was destined to be the greatest of all time, and with all the bad decisions he made in his career, and all the issues he had, he still is one of the greatest, but he wasted a lot of potential."

The biggest match on the card will be CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre in a Strap match. The way to win is to touch all four corners of the ring while attached to your opponent with a strap, which you can use against them. It is the latest chapter of the epic rivalry between the two.

Also on the card, Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley look to punish The Judgement Day as they face Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan. Priest and Ripley were the leaders of the group until getting betrayed. Now, the former champions face heat magnet Mysterio and women's champion Morgan.

Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes defends the Undisputed WWE Title against Kevin Owens.
