Inside the ring, Floyd Mayweather was a technical wizard. Outside of it, he is an influential businessman.

Making his pro debut in 1996, Mayweather won gold in five weight classes and retired undefeated at 50-0. Mayweather ran boxing like a business and successfully profited from it.

“Money” now competes in exhibition bouts. He has faced Tenshin Nasukawa, influencer Logan Paul, Don Moore, MMA fighter Mikuru Asakura, YouTuber Deji, and MMA fighter/Geordie Shore alum Aaron Chalmers.

Mayweather's last fight was against John Gotti III, grandson of notorious gangster John Gotti. The sixth-round stoppage was premature, resulting in Gotti going after Mayweather and a melee between both teams. Now, the two compete in a rematch in Mexico City on August 24.

One of the richest athletes in the world, Mayweather sees exhibition bouts as opportunities to enhance the size of his wallet.
