Pakistan fans were not happy when they took to the social media platform X (formerly twitter) following the team's 10-wicket defeat to rivals Bangladesh in the first Test match at Rawalpindi.

Here is how some of the Pakistan fans reacted and trolled their skipper:
Shan Masood batting record in Test cricket for Pakistan
Several Pakistan fans have long been of the opinion that Masood did not deserve to be made as the team's captain, suggesting that he was appointed in role only for his ability to speak good English, and not for his batting talent.

Shan Masood - First Pakistan captain to lose against Bangladesh in Test cricket
Not only has Masood become the first Pakistan captain to lose against Bangladesh in Test cricket, but he is also the country's first ever skipper to lose his first four matches. The fans did not fail to remind him about the embarrassing stat.
Babar Azam fans had also joined in on the trolling as Masood had taken over the Test captaincy from the latter but has so far massively failed in his leadership role.
Many fans and experts including Rashid Latif had criticized Masood for declaring when Pakistan was 448/6 in the first inning, which they felt was too early, as it backfired in hindsight.
One fan rated his captaincy a three out of 10.
