Will Hardik Pandya be selected for the 2024 T20 World Cup?
TOI further reports that the BCCI selectors are concerned over Hardik Pandya's form in the current IPL season and that could be a major point of discussion while selecting the final squad. The MI skipper has only scored 151 runs in eight matches thus far and has picked up only four wickets while leaking 181 runs.
The report further claimed that Pandya, however, is likely to board the flight to the US as his nearest competitor Shivam Dube has hardly bowled in the IPL this season and is likely to miss out on that ground.
Will Sanju Samson be selected for the 2024 T20 World Cup?
Other than discussing the slot of an all-rounder, the selectors will also have to pick the best wicket-keeper batters for the ICC competition. As per the TOI report, the topic of Sanju Samson's selection will be thoroughly discussed in the meeting, however, Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul reportedly has a slight edge over the RR skipper.
Which bowlers will be selected for the 2024 T20 World Cup?
