Mumbai Indians (MI) got back to winning ways after two consecutive victories at home against Delhi Capitals (DC) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). The Hardik Pandya-led side faced Punjab Kings away from home on Thursday, and got home all two points. The five-time champions won their first away game of the season.
Courtesy of the win, MI are now placed seventh on the table, with three wins in seven games. That being said, they have little margin of error for remaining group stage games, and would hope to build on this win in Mohali.

MI beat PBKS in a narrow encounter by nine runs, to claim their third win of the season. MI put a challenging 192 on the board, thanks to half-century by Suryakumar Yadav (78), and a quick fire 34 by Tilak Varma.
The hosts Punjab failed to roar at their own den, falling short by nine runs. Jasprit Bumrah (3/21) and Gerald Coetzee (3/32) negated a late flourish by Shashank Singh (41) and Ashutosh Sharma (61). MI beat PBKS in the last over of the game, to get their third win in seven matches.
Up next, is yet another away travel for Hardik and his boys!
