While there can be several reasons for Pakistan's failure to find success in the T20 format, former cricketer Rashid Latif pointed out a couple of glaring aspects of the team which has played a crucial role in their poor performances.
According to the wicket-keeper batsman, a major concern for the Pakistan cricket team has been their lack of firepower in the batting lineup. While they boast of some big names in their ranks like Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, they have not performed as per expectations.
Speaking on PTV, Latif pointed out that Azam and Rizwan, who have been opening the innings for quite some time now have not been able to bat in a fiery mode and have been eating up too many balls at the top order which eventually harms the team's cause.
