Will Mayank Yadav play the Border Gavaskar Trophy series against Australia?

According to BCCI secretary Jay Shah, Yadav is still undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. as he has been advised to be eased back to full fitness.

"I cannot give you any answer on Mayank Yadav as there is no guarantee whether he will be in the team or not. But he is potentially a good fast bowler, and we are looking after him. He is currently at the NCA," he told The Times of India.

While he would be a great addition to the Test squad as a fast bowler in Australian conditions, it looks unlikely that he will be considered for the tour, unless he is able to prove full bowling fitness in the next couple of months.
