The fourth day of the World Test Championship (WTC) Final between India and Australia will be played on Saturday at The Oval in London, England.

After being put into bat, Australia scored 469 in their first innings and bowled India out for 296 runs. Australia will begin Day 3 on 123-4 and have a lead of 269 over their opponents. India's strategy for the final has come under scrutiny by many, with blame being levelled on players as well as support staff.

According to former Pakistan player Basit Ali, India coach Rahul Dravid made too many mistakes in his plan to take on Australia from Day 1 itself.

'He is absolutely zero': Ex-Pakistan player Basit Ali

Ali stated on his Youtube channel that while he respects and admires Dravid as a player, he doesn't have the same talent as a coach. The former Pakistan player criticised India's plan of practising on turning wickets when they knew what they had in store against Australia in England.

"I am a huge Rahul Dravid fan, have always been and will remain. He is a class player, a legend. But as a coach, he is absolutely zero. You prepared turning pitches on India. Just answer me this. When India travelled to Australia, were there similar wickets? They had bouncy pitches, right? God knows what he was thinking. Jab upar wala akal baant raha tha toh pata nahi kaha pahaado ke peeche chhupe huye thhe (God knows where he was when god was distributing brains)," remarked Ali.

He further added that India would need a miracle to win the final,

"India lost the match the moment they chose to bowl worrying about the first two hours. And the kind of bowling that was on display was just like IPL. By lunch, the Indian bowlers appeared so happy as if they’d won the match. All India can do now is hope to get them out cheaply and hope for a miracle in the fourth innings."
