Ashes 2023: How to watch second Test between England and Australia from India?

World cricket's oldest, fiercest, and greatest rivalry will be renewed as Australia take on England in the Second Test of The Ashes on June 28.

Australia will come into this game with the psychological advantage having won the first Test by a margin of two wickets with 27 balls left to spare.

England on the other hand will be questioning their strategy and some of the decisions (such as the early declaration in the first innings), hoping that this time around they get it right and bring the series back to a stalemate.

Here we look at how one can watch the second Test of Ashes 2023 in India.

Where is the second Ashes Test?

The second Test of this year's Ashes will be played from June 28 to July 2 at the iconic Lord's in London.

At what time will Ashes 2023 start in India?

Each Test will be divided into three sessions in the following manner-

  • The first session will start at 3:30 pm IST in India and will end usually after two hours after which the lunch break begins at 5:30 pm IST.
     
  • After a 40-minute lunch break, the second session will start at 6:10 pm IST and go on again for another two hours till 8:10 pm IST.
     
  • Following a small break of 20 mins, play shall resume at 8:30 pm IST and should go on ideally till 10:30 pm IST. However, often due to slow-over-rate, 30 minutes extra are added to complete 90 overs, in which case stumps will be called at 11:00 pm IST.

When will the toss take place?

The toss for the second Test in this year's Ashes will take place at 3:00 pm IST on June 15.
