The MS Dhoni-led side will rekindled their long-standing rivalry with Virat Kohli-starred Royal Challengers Bangalore.

This is the ninth time in IPL history that CSK featured in the opening fixture of the season.
CSK will play their first two matches of the season at home while they will travel for the next two games to New Delhi and Hyderabad. They will end the league stage with another southern derby, against Bengaluru on May 18.
