As the second Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh unfolded in Rawalpindi, the fans were finally able to witness a historic moment of Bangladesh whitewashing the Test series against the hosts Pakistan.

England completed a historic 3-0 series sweep against Pakistan. This whitewash marked the first time Pakistan lost a three-Test series 3-0 on home soil.

Bangladesh create history against Pakistan in Test cricket

Similarly, Bangladesh completed a historic 2-0 whitewash of the hosts Pakistan at Rawalpindi. Not only did the visitors win their first Test against their opponents in Test cricket in the first match, but they also managed to double down and win back-to-back matches in the series.

Bangladesh is on the brink of a remarkable feat. After a dominant performance in the first Test, they have continued their form in the second Test.

Hasan Mahmud and Nahid Rana's bowling helped in dismissing Pakistan for 172 runs in their second innings. This has set Bangladesh a target of 185 runs to win the match, to secure a 2-0 series victory.

In the chase, the Bangladesh batters comfortably chased down the target to win by 6 wickets. Experienced campaigners Mushfiqur Rahim and Shakib Al Hasan guided the team past the finish line.
