With the second Test against Bangladesh fast approaching, Pakistan has bolstered their squad by recalling Abrar Ahmed and Kamran Ghulam.

The two players had initially been released but are now back to contribute in the upcoming match at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, set to take place from August 30 to September 3.

Will Abrar Ahmed play in the second test?

Abrar Ahmed, a leg-spinner renowned for his sharp turn and control on subcontinental pitches, is expected to play a crucial role as Pakistan reconsiders their spin options.

This decision comes after the team’s controversial choice to omit a spinner in the first Test—a move that PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi later admitted might have been a "possible mistake."

However, the situation has now shifted, and Abrar’s involvement in the second Test seems much more likely.

Shaheen Shah Afridi, Pakistan’s leading fast bowler, has also rejoined the squad after being released at the end of the first Test.
