The Najmul Hossain Shanto-led Bangladesh Test team were jubilant after they white-washed the hosts Pakistan 2-0 in a historic Test series victory.
Following a 10-wicket win in the first Test, Bangladesh followed up with yet another dominating all-round performance in the second Test, which they won by 6 wickets at Rawalpindi.
In terms of the World Test Championship (WTC), the team's chances looked slim, but the 2-0 series win against Pakistan has helped them jump two places higher, to sixth in the WTC 2024/25 points table.
The road looks tough when they take on their biggest challenge in the tour of India starting later this month, however the Bangladesh skipper Shanto sent out a strong message to their next opponents India following their dominating victory against Pakistan.
