The Kerala Cricket League (KCL) T20 2024 is set to bring excitement to cricket fans as it kicks off on September 2 in Thiruvananthapuram.
Organized by the Kerala Cricket Association (KCA), this inaugural tournament will see six teams battling it out in a series of 33 matches, all played at the Greenfield International Stadium.

How many teams will compete in KCL 2024?
KCL 2024 will feature six teams, bringing together a mix of local talent and emerging cricketing stars. Here are the six competing teams:
- Alleppey Ripples
- Aries Kollam Sailors
- Calicut Globstars
- Kochi Blue Tigers
- Thrissur Titans
- Trivandrum Royals
What is the format of the KCL 2024?
The tournament follows a double round-robin format, where each of the six participating teams will face the other five teams twice. After all the league matches, the top four teams on the points table will advance to the semi-finals.
On September 17, the second-placed team will compete against the third-placed team in the first semi-final, while the top team will face the fourth-placed team in the second semi-final.
The winners of these semi-finals will battle it out for the championship in the final scheduled for September 18. September 19 has been reserved as a backup day for the final.
