India has unveiled its squad for the final three Tests against England, with KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja making a return after recovering from their respective injuries. However, their participation is contingent upon medical clearance, as confirmed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
The inclusion of Rahul and Jadeja bolsters India's lineup, compensating for the absence of key players like Mohammed Shami and Virat Kohli. Shami continues to recuperate from an ankle injury sustained during last year's World Cup, while Kohli is unavailable due to a family emergency.
Another notable absentee is Shreyas Iyer, who has been sidelined due to back stiffness. Consequently, Rajat Patidar and Sarfaraz Khan have retained their spots in the middle order.
Mohammed Siraj returns to the squad after being rested for the second Test, while Mukesh Kumar maintains his place. Avesh Khan has been replaced by Akash Deep, and Saurabh Kumar has been released following Jadeja's comeback.
As the series is currently tied at 1-1, all eyes will be on the upcoming third Test, scheduled to commence on February 15 in Rajkot.
