The inaugural edition of the Madhya Pradesh League 2024 got underway on Saturday at the Gwalior International Cricket Stadium.
The first match saw Rajat Patidar's Malwa Panthers taking on Venkatesh Iyer's Gwalior Cheetahs were the Panthers emerged victorious.

What happened in the match between Gwalior Cheetahs and Malwa Panthers?
Batting first, Cheetahs posted a formidable total of 193 runs for the loss of seven wickets courtesy of a brilliant innings by Parth Sahani who scored 83 off 54 balls. Star attraction Venkatesh Iyer, however, failed to deliver with the bat as he got dismissed for just one run.
While chasing, Panther at one point lost four wickets for just 49 runs, however, Shubham Sharma (49*) and Akshat Raghuvanshi (54) made sure they chased down the total in 19.1 overs.

When do the Cheetahs and Panthers play next in the MP League 2024?
Panthers will be next seen in action on June 16 against Rewa Jaguars while a day later Cheetahs face Bhopal Leopards.
