There has been a positive developement with Shami's recovery from injury as of late. According to reports, Shami has started bowling once again and will make his return to the Indian team soon. Shami's childhood coach, Barauddin provided the update on Shami's recovery.
Shami has started bowling. Not with full run-up or full tilt but has started releasing the ball without any discomfort in the nets. This is a good sign because bowling activity has begun.
Shami last represented the Indian team back in November 2023 in the ODI World Cup, where in the men in blue had to suffer a heart breaking loss to the Aussies are a fantastic run throughout the tournament. Shami made a post following his surgery back in February.
