The South Asian giants have failed to live up to the hype having lost two out of their first three games and are running the risk of facing group-stage elimination.
They started their journey with a shock defeat at the hands of minnows and co-hosts USA and then failed to chase a total of 120 runs against India. They, however, made a comeback in their third match as they beat Canada to keep their hopes alive of making it to the playoffs.

Asif advises 'predictable' Shaheen Afridi to make changes in bowling
Star Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Afridi has faced criticism for his poor form in the ongoing tournament as he managed to pick up just three wickets in the first three encounters.
Now former Pakistan speedster Muhammad Asif has advised the young bowler to work on his technique and skillset as he has apparently become too predictable for the opposition.
Taking to X, Asif wrote,
Two boundaries on the first two balls. Shaheen has become too predictable, especially in his first over. He did have success on the new ball with his full-in swinging ball but now batsmen are ready to hit him boundaries on the same ball. The bowling coach should make him aware and help him to change.
