Despite an amazing Indian Premier League season this year that saw him win the Orange Cap, Shubman Gill hasn't had the best of times recently.
His performance against Australia in the World Test Championship Final were below par, with Gill putting up a mere total of 31 runs. What added salt to the wound was the controversial manner in which he was dismissed in the second innings.
To add to all the chaos, Gill was fined 115% of his match fee due to criticising third umpire Richard Kettleborough's decision to send him back to the pavilion, while India were also sanctioned as a whole for maintaining a slow over-rate throughout the innings.

Shubman Gill attends Champions League final
However, Gill hasn't let these recent events deter him too much, and was spotted attending the Champions League final between Manchester City and Inter Milan on June 10. After City lifted the trophy, he posted a tweet congratulating the English giants on becoming the second team to win the treble, and posted pictures with Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland.

This wasn't the first time Gill has attended a Manchester City game, having seen their FA Cup Final live at Wembley with India teammate Virat Kohli and Kohli's partner Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma earlier this month.
