The UP T20 League 2024 has kicked off on August 25 in Lucknow. This season marks the beginning of the tournament’s second edition.

The tournament will see six teams vying for the title, with a total of 34 matches scheduled, including the league stage, playoffs, and the final.

How many teams will participate in the UP T20 League 2024?
The UP T20 League 2024 will be contested among the six teams:
- Meerut Mavericks
- Kanpur Superstars
- Noida Kings
- Gorakhpur Lions
- Kashi Rudras
- Lucknow Falcons
What is the format of the UP T20 League 2024?
A total of six teams will participate in UP T20 League 2024.
All six teams will play 7 matches in the group stage. After the group stage, the top four teams will qualify for the knockouts of UP T20 League 2024. The format for the knockouts are similar to that used in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The first and second-placed teams in group stage, will play in the 'Qualifier 1' - the winner of which, will qualify for the final. The third and fourth-placed teams will play in the 'Eliminator'. The loser of the Qualifier 1 and the winner of the Eliminator will contest in the 'Qualifier 2'.
The winner of the Qualifier 2 will clash horns with the winner of the Qualifier 1, in the UP T20 League 2024 Final.

All the matches of the UP T20 League 2024 except for the Final will be played at Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
The Final match will be played at the Bharat Ratna Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Stadium in Baramati.
