"Virat Kohli is my favourite player. I rate him very highly. Virat Kohli is a proper match-winner player," Afridi said.

Afridi also mentioned that if Kohli visits Pakistan for the upcoming Champions Trophy, he would be the center of attention. He praised Kohli's class and remarked on the admiration Kohli has among Pakistani fans.

"If Virat Kohli comes to Pakistan, he will forget the love and hospitality of India. There is a lot of craze in Pakistan. People like him a lot in Pakistan," Afridi added.

Afridi also highlighted keeping sports separate from politics. He said, "Indians coming to Pakistan, Pakistanis going to India, what can be more beautiful than that?" Reflecting on his own experiences, Afridi recalled the respect and love he received in India and the similar reception Indian teams have enjoyed in Pakistan.
