The Indian superstar batter Virat Kohli is regarded to be one of the greatest ever batters in the history of the game. He is arguably the best batter in modern cricket, particularly in the white-ball format.
Kohli has so far scored 80 international centuries in his international career so far, second only to India's Sachin Tendulkar, who has 100 centuries. Recently, the latter had broken Tendulkar's record of 49 centuries in the ODI format.
After going through a lean period during the years 2020 and 2021, where he failed to score any hundreds, he came back to his best by recording a century in the T20 World Cup 2022 match against Afghanistan. Since then, he has record nine more centuries.
In this article, The Sporting News takes a detailed look at all of his 80 international centuries and breaks it down in detail format-wise, opposition-wise and home-away records.
