The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday, August 27, named several Pakistan legends as mentors of the five teams that are set to take part in the upcoming domestic Champions Cup tournament.
While the names of the teams have not been announced it, PCB led by chairman Mohsin Naqvi released a statement saying that all top players including international stars must make themselves available for the 50-over tournament.
The five mentors, who were signed up on three-year contracts by the PCB, will begin their domestic assignment in the Champions One-Day Cup, which is scheduled to be held in Faisalabad, starting September 12 and ending on September 29.
The tournament will also kickstart the beginning of Pakistan's domestic 2024/25 season.

While the names of the five teams who will participate in the upcoming Champions Cup domestic tournament 2024 have not yet been announced, here are the mentors of the five teams.

All five mentors have previously held some coaching, advisory or mentorship role as a part of either the Pakistan national team or in the domestic circuits.
Misbah, Waqar and Mushtaq have held coaching positions with the Pakistan cricket team in the past.
