India’s 'League of Legends' team vie for Asian Games 2023 seeding

This year's edition of the Asian Games is set to take place in Hangzhou, China from September 23 to October 8 with some of the most renowned athletes in contention.

For the first time ever, the Asian Games will have a medal event for Esports, with some of the world's best gamers battling it out on the big stage to win a podium finish for their country.

Gamers will be competing in seven events; Arena of Valor Asian Games Version, Dota 2, Dream Three Kingdoms 2, FIFA Online 4, League of Legends, PUBG Mobile Asian Games Version and Street Fighter V: Champion Edition.

India’s 'League of Legends' team vie for Asian Games 2023 seeding

One of the four events India will be taking part in is the League of Legends event and their contingent will be travelling to Macau to determine which team will get top seeding and which won't.

The Indian team will compete against Sri Lanka, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan to secure a favorable seeding at the upcoming event. The matches will be held on June 21 and June 22, with India taking on Sri Lanka and Kazakhstan on the first day and Kyrgyzstan on the second.
