With an injury-riddled Cavaliers team looking to protect home court Monday night, the top-seeded Celtics prevented any momentum going in the opposite direction in a 109-102 win in Cleveland.

Despite a seven-point win, the Celtics had a dominant offensive performance from Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, who combined for 60 points.

“It took us a little while to get going and stop ball-watching and play some basketball,” Brown said post-game via Yahoo Sports.

Once the Celtics got going, it was off to the races. Boston held Cleveland, who was without Donovan Mitchell due to a calf strain, to just 12-of-32 from 3-point range while forcing 14 turnovers.

The Cavaliers will have to regroup in a hurry to have any hope of keeping the series alive, starting Wednesday night in Boston.
