LaMelo Ball continues to add to a growing list of reasons why he is one of the NBA's most entertaining athletes.

As Hornets fans eagerly anticipate Ball's return to the basketball court, they were graced with his first-ever appearance on the golf course. As for the results? Let's just say Ball might want to stick to his day job.

As the offseason rolls on, Charlotte's social media team shared content from a team golf outing in which Ball was joined by teammates Tre Mann and Nick Richards, president of basketball operations Jeff Peterson and TV commentator Dell Curry, among others.

With Ball mic'd up, hilarity ensued. Here is more from Ball's time on the green.

Keeping up with the trends, the copy provided along with the video reads, "We know a golf course hate to see us coming." Once the video began, it didn't take long for Ball to let his personality shine through.

"I ain't ever been this close to golf," Ball said to Peterson in the video's opening moments. "Yeah, I don't even think I should be in this type of game."

As he was given a course rundown, Ball was in disbelief at the distance he was expected to hit the ball.

"Man, stop playing," Ball said. "Please don't tell me you're talking about where that little man is standing."

Ball's disbelief set up his first swing, which certainly caught the attention of NBA fans across X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

Not many people may be able to relate to averaging 23.9 points, 8.0 assists and 5.1 rebounds per game as a 22-year-old, but plenty of people understand the humbling feeling of struggling with your golf swing for the first time.

Throughout the remainder of the video, Ball's reactions to the respective golf games of Mann and Peterson were almost as entertaining as his own game. The biggest takeaway from it all, however, is the inside look at the level of chemistry that is being cultivated in Charlotte.

Ball may not have a future as being one of the NBA's better golfers but he has shown flashes of being one of the game's top players. If nothing else, he's got that going for him.
