The South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Championship is set to take place in Bengaluru, India from June 21 to July 4.
There was much curiosity as to whether Pakistan will be allowed to participate in the tournament in India, considering the political tension between the two countries.
However, the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) on Thursday said they have received No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from country’s Foreign Office, confirming their participation in the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Cup to be held in India.

India, the reigning champions, and Pakistan both will be in Group A along with the likes of Kuwait and Nepal. The two sides will face one another on June 21.
