West Ham and Fiorentina are set to go head to head for European glory in the 2023 UEFA Europa Conference League final.

Neither side have won a European competition since the 1960s, but one of these two teams will make history as the second winners of the tertiary UEFA club tournament.

The Hammers last reached a cup final in 2006, when they lost the FA Cup final to Liverpool, whereas Fiorentina were beaten by Inter Milan in the Coppa Italia showpiece in May.

The Sporting News looks at the team news ahead of the Europa Conference League final.

West Ham vs Fiorentina team news

West Ham are yet to lose in this season's Europa Conference League, only failing to win once in 12 games during the current campaign. David Moyes has most of his squad available to him for the final.

Fiorentina have been scoring a lot of goals in the tournament, with Arthur Cabral leading the charts in the competition at the moment with seven goals.

Below are the confirmed lineups for both teams ahead of the Europa Conference League final at Fortuna Arena on Wednesday, June 7.

West Ham Europa Conference League lineup

Moyes sticks with the 4-2-3-1 formation which has led West Ham to this stage in the competition. The players have had plenty of rest and should be more than prepared for the final.

Gianluca Scamacca is the only absentee for the Hammers as he recovers from a knee injury, but Moyes has made a double change at full back, with Vladimir Coufal and Emerson Palmieri starting.

West Ham (4-2-3-1, right to left): Areola (GK) — Coufal, Zouma, Aguerd, Palmieri — Soucek, Rice — Bowen, Paqueta, Benrahma — Antonio

  • Injured: Scamacca
  • Suspended: None

Fiorentina Europa Conference League lineup

Vincenzo Italiano prefers to set his Fiorentina side up with the 4-3-3 formation and could have every outfield player available for selection.

Salvatore Sirigu is sidelined with an Achilles tendon injury, while Gaetano Castrovilli is ruled out, with Cabral on the bench.

Fiorentina (4-3-3, right to left): Terracciano (GK) — Dodo, Milenkovic, Ranieri, Biraghi — Bonaventura, Amrabat, Mandragora — Kouamé, Jovic, Gonzalez

  • Injured: Sirigu, Castrovilli (doubt)
  • Suspended: None
