While accustomed to main eventing money-spinning boxing cards, Jake Paul is only too happy to make his first appearance on an undercard when he faces cruiserweight Ryan Bourland. The eight-round bout, plus undercard action, takes place at the Coliseo Jose Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on March 2.

Paul (8-1, 5 KOs) is the head of Most Valuable Promotions, which is the lead promoter for Amanda Serrano, the unified featherweight champion of the world. Serrano, a legendary figure within the fight game, will defend her IBF, WBA, WBO and Ring Magazine titles against Nina Meinke in the main event.

This will be the second fight in a row that Paul will box against a legitimate professional. While previous wins over fellow YouTubers and MMA fighters were lucrative, they did not fulfill the criteria required to give the Cleveland, Ohio, native a worthwhile ranking.

But while there’s more to boxing than money, Jake Paul has made plenty of it. The Sporting News takes a look at his purses for this upcoming fight.

Jake Paul vs. Ryan Bourland fight purse, prize money

While Paul seems more focused on improving as a fighter than on money right now, one would guess that he's not fighting for free. Well, it turns out that he is.

"I'm fighting for experience, not for the money, and to show my love for this beautiful island (Puerto Rico), I'll be donating my entire fight purse from this event to my non-profit Boxing Bullies to help renovate gyms across Puerto Rico," said Paul in a statement.

Bourland’s official purse is unknown.
