The 2023 Cricket World Cup semi-finals are fast approaching with league stages boiling down. Hosts India were the first team to confirm their place in the knockout stage and will finish the league stage in the top spot.

India have been joined by South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. The Kiwis were the last team to book their berth in the semis after Pakistan went down against England in their final league game.

The top-ranked team (India) will now take on fourth-placed New Zealand in the first semi-final while second and third-placed South Africa and Australia will lock horns in the second semis.

Semifinal 1 between India and New Zealand, will be held on November 15  at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Wankhede will be hosting a World Cup knockout game for the first time since the 2011 World Cup final.

Semifinal 2, contested between South Africa and Australia, will be held on November 16 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
