The 2024 Formula One season continues at pace as we tick off the 10th race of the campaign today in Barcelona, for the 65th edition of the Spanish Grand Prix.

A European summer's worth of races will kick into gear from the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in the northeast of Spain today, and it's the first of seven in a row to take place on the continent.

After back-to-back meetings on street-like circuits in Monaco and Montreal respectively, we return to the open pasture of a wide open track with plenty of long straights, slipstreams, chicanes and a home stretch which will see the 20 drivers able to hit some of their highest speeds so far this season.

Max Verstappen remains the man to beat after a close-run victory over Lando Norris, George Russell and Lewis Hamilton in Canada last time out, with the British trio, Ferrari's Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz (in his home race) all looking to close the gap to the Dutchman's 56-point lead atop the World Drivers' Championship.

The iconic Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is set to play host to another epic encounter of this unpredictable Formula One season, and The Sporting News has all the TV and streaming details you need to catch the 2024 Spanish Grand Prix.

When is the next F1 race after the Spanish Grand Prix?

A seven-race stretch of consecutive European meetings begins in Barcelona today, with the next three months dominated by some of the most well-known tracks on the Formula One calendar. The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is certainly one of those, and also played host to one of the four MotoGP races held in Spain a few weeks ago.

Next up for the 20 drivers in 2024 is a shift to the home of the team that has dominated F1 for the last three seasons in a row: we'll be in central Europe for the Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg. Not quite a home race for three-time champion Max Verstappen, but certainly one in which he and Sergio Perez will have massive expectations on their shoulders.

The Austrian Grand Prix weekend begins in just a few days' time on Friday, June 28 as the three free practice sessions begin, prior to qualifying and leading into race day itself at 3:00 p.m. local time (CEST) on Sunday, June 30. Next up will be a hop over the border to another recognisable circuit – the Hungaroring – ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix.
