Bronny James pieced together a second consecutive solid performance in Summer League, helping the Lakers to their second win in a row.

James scored 13 points in Thursday's 93-89 win over the Cavaliers, surpassing his career high of 12 points set Wednesday. He was effective from the jump once again, scoring efficiently from all three levels.

The 19-year-old guard was also clutch once again in the fourth quarter. The Lakers took the lead with five minutes left off his layup, and he drained a step-back 3-pointer two minutes later to cut the deficit.

Los Angeles' next Summer League game comes Saturday, July 20, against the Bulls.

Bronny James highlights vs. Cavaliers

James had a solid first half, tallying eight points, three assists and two rebounds in 13 minutes.

He had a nice pump fake into a midrange jumper early in the first quarter and followed it up with an assist to Dalton Knecht.

He also sped to the rim for a left-handed layup in first quarter. 

James finished off the half with a floater and two free throws. 

James topped his career high in points with a 13-point outing against the Cavaliers. His layup with five minutes left in the fourth gave the Lakers the lead.

He nailed a step-back jumper a couple minutes later to cut the Lakers' deficit.
