Philadelphia 76ers player Kelly Oubre was hospitalized Saturday night, after being struck by a car near his house.

Oubre was reportedly walking near his house in Center City when he was hit by a car and rushed to hospital.

The 27-year-old joined the 76ers during the 2023 off-season and was off to an impressive start for the team, averaging 16.3 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.

Kelly Oubre released from hospital

Oubre has now been released from hospital and will work with the 76ers to treat and manage his injuries

Earlier in the night, Oubre received treatment from a local hospital and was in a stable condition

He was joined at the hospital by 76ers President Daryl Morey and other team officials, with local law enforcement currently investigating the incident.

How long will Kelly Oubre be out?

While the exact details of Oubre's incident and subsequent injuries are not yet clear, he is expected to miss a significant stretch of play.

However, there is a silver lining for Oubre and the team, with his injuries not expected to be season-ending.

He was released from the hospital after receiving treatment and is in a stable condition.
